Intended use: 
Under medical supervision, Alginate Silver Dressing is suitable for use in the management of critically colonized wounds. 
Alginate Silver Dressing is indicated for use as a primary wound dressing in the management of moderate to heavily exuding partial to full thickness wounds including: Post-operative wounds, Trauma wounds (dermal lesions, trauma injuries or incisions), Leg ulcers, Pressure ulcers, Diabetic ulcers, Graft and donor sites, 2nd degree (superficial, partial-thickness burns).

Features:        
1. High absorption dressing for highly exuding wounds; creates moist wound environment conducive to healing.
2. Silver ions released in wound exudate provide effective antimicrobial protection against a broad spectrum of microorganisms. 
3. Easy to use because it remains intact when saturated dressing can be removed in one piece. 
4. Cost effective: absorbs more exudate thereby reducing the number of dressing changes and nursing time.
5. Absorbs Moderate to Heavy Exudate: Dressing absorbs a moderate to heavy amount of fluid coming from the wound. 
6. Indicated for Full Thickness Wounds: Dressing can be used for a wound that has penetrated the epidermis, the dermis and into or through the subcutaneous tissue.
7. Fills in Dead Space: A dressing that takes the shape of the wound cavity completely filling in the space around the wound.
